REFERENCES AND ARTICLES ON THE MOLECULAR-ELECTRONIC SENSORS' APPLICATIONS

2016

A presentation "The method of locating microseismic events" by our partners - JSC "OCTOPUS" Astrakhan, Russia. The presentation is dedicated to practical results of exploiting the molecular-electronic seismometers in passive seismic.

2014

An Article "Asymmetric caldera-related structures in the area of the Avacha group of volcanoes in Kamchatka as revealed by ambient noise tomography and deep seismic sounding." in Journal of Volcanology and Geothermal Research This incredible work studies the volcanoes activity for a year time span. The areas of observation are accessible for a couple of month in mid-summer, so the equipment was left for another 10 month and the data were picked up a year after the deployment. Data loggers Baikal-ACN-87 and broadband sensors CME-4311 were used in this experiment.

2014

A Leaflet "Low-Frequency Seismic Sounding (LFS)" from our partners - CJSC Gradient. The company has a profound experience in using the seismic sensors CME-4111 и CME-4311 along with seismic recorders Baykal-ACN for seismic exploration.

2014

An Article "A real-time seismic and tsunami network in the Kyparissiakos Gulf, Greece." The buoy and satellite stations were equipped with broadband CME-4011-OBS seismic sensors of 30 s to 50 Hz, while all other locations used 3C refraction geophones of 4.5 Hz natural frequency. Among other results, the article describes the efficiency of the station equipped with molecular-electronic seismometer.

2013

An Article "Monitoring of high-rise buildings as an important asset for the construction design." Molecular-electronic sensors of different type were used to acquire data for this article.

2012

An Article "Seismic Monitoring of Linear and Rotational Oscillations of the Multistory Buildings in Moscow". The proceedengs of the 6th European Workshop on the seismic behaviour of Irregular and Complex Structures. The article is focused on the long-term permanent monitoring of the 44-store building of Lomonosov Moscow State University's main building. The data for the rotational component of oscillation were collected by means of METR-03 rotational sensor.

2012

An Article "An investigation of an external impact conversion into the strained rotation inside ancient boulder structures (solovky islands, white sea)". The proceedengs of the 6th European Workshop on the seismic behaviour of Irregular and Complex Structures. The article is focused on comparison of the data acquired by several linear and the METR-03 rotational sensor.

2012

An Article "Rotational sensors—a comparison of different sensor types". The Author compares two types of rotational motion sensors, the liquidbased rotational seismometers type R1 and type R2 and the closed loop fiber optic gyroscope LCG-Demonstrator by Northrop Grumman LITEF.

2008

A description of Onshore/offshore permanent Seismological Network for Near Real Time Data Transmission in Greece (Project SEAHELLARC). The station is equipped with a 3C broadband seismic sensor CME-4011-OBS (30 sec to 50 Hz).
